This Mevagissey Harbour screenprint print is from a limited edition of 50. Each one is named, signed and numbered by me. It is of Mevagissey in Cornwall.
This is my largest and most ambitious screenprint to date! It is quite difficult to print, with each layer needing to be perfectly aligned and pulled. The project took a long time from start to finish with me photographing the harbour and then creating a new illustration.
The size of the paper is 56cm x 49cm approximately. The artwork size is 48cm x 38cm approximately.
It's printed in six colours on Fabriano 5 printing paper.
It will be sent out rolled. Please note this print is unframed and also please note that as it is hand printed, each print will vary slightly.
I have long been inspired by the beaches and harbours of Cornwall, the houses, boats, rocks, stones and various textures which can be found in these locations and the feeling of safety they give.
